Burger & Lobster at Harvey Nichols, London.
Following the successful design of Burger & Lobster at Raffles Hotel and Burger & Lobster at Jewel, both in Singapore, Rockett was appointed by the brand to do an extensive estate upgrade across all of their iconic UK restaurants. The challenge was to refresh the existing interiors whilst maintaining the essence of Burger & Lobster’s signature look.
Working closely with the staff in each restaurant, we assessed and addressed any operational pain-points by introducing new layouts in order to achieve a more effective operational flow.
Seeking the advice of an expert sustainability consultant, we then upgraded all the furniture, lighting and finishes across each location, whilst consciously minimising or avoiding waste. All aspects of the restaurant interiors were carefully considered to best achieve long-term energy efficiency.
The new design features a contemporary colour palette inspired by the coastline of Nova Scotia, where the brand’s lobsters are freshly caught. Each location features the brand’s signature scheme of burgundy red leather, textured woods and Fior Di Pesco marble top tables reminiscent of rough seas and ocean spray. New feature lighting was introduced throughout to create a warm glowing ambience at any time of day.
